Lithuanian Sea Museum fosters the idea of the maritime Lithuania and develops educational programmes featuring national maritime heritage, traditional shipping and living by the coastline. Participants of the sessions are invited to discover epic stories of the mankind relationship with the sea and the attempts to take up its challenges. Evoking critical thinking, sparking curiosity and inspiration, the programmes call for personal commitment to each other and the Baltic Sea.

Content: the Baltic Sea, its Fauna and Flora.
Participants are invited to immerse themselves in the history of the Baltic Sea, get acquainted with its inhabitants and the underwater world. After you know, you cannot withstand a personal commitment to preserve the world of the Baltic Sea.
WHAT DO LIGHTHOUSES TALK ABOUT?
Content: Lighthouse. Navigation. Destination – Home.
Story of lighthouses unlocks history of navigational inventions. Knowledge of lighthouse constructions broaden understanding about architecture. And, their locations call for geographical discoveries.
Having transmitted a right signal ordirectedship safely to the harbour you will gain moreconfidence in taking on responsibility or acting as an experienced team player.

Content: Irresistible call of discoveries. Attempts to get on well with the sea.
Thrilling situations will expose you to the challenges of the sea. Being aware and knowing how to avoid them, you will get more comprehension of responsibility and duty, and how important is to communicate with each other and think critically.
LITHUANIAN NATIONAL FLAG FLIES THE SEAS
Content: Dream. Courage. Commitment. Sea.
Talk about the colours of the Lithuanian tricolour: yellow, green, and red – evokes personal emotions to the national flag. What does the national flag signal in the sea? The context is supplement by a true story of the flag of the first Lithuanian naval ship Prezidentas Smetona.
Through modern methods, the lesson calls to decode the meaning of the national flag to each of us.
WIND ALWAYS BLOWS AT THE HARBOUR
Content: Wind. Harmony between the Nature and a Human. Cultural progress of Lithuania and the World.
Lab of winds introduces various wind detecting techniques and asks to relate and explain the wind and a kite, a flag, a sail, a weathervane, a whistle, a windmill, an anemometer, The Beaufort scale... To call the wind you will have to learn its local name... And you will hear the wind composing or playing like a musician.
The wind will bring the Nature to you as the immense source of inspiration.
